I found ICo-Content and must admit I was sceptical but
decided to try it anyway; I thought there wasn’t much to be lost as it’s not overly expensive.
I purchased the vBulletin version and had the download link within seconds and had it installed
within minutes. I was currently paying 0.20c per post to some paid posters I had employed to
get my forum going. That equates to $200 for 1,000 posts, so they are not cheap, they need
constant monitoring and management to make sure they post decent quality posts and most are
sadly, unreliable.
I have now had ICo-Content running for 12 hours and have gained 621 members,
707 posts and 187 topics. This would have cost approx $200 if I had paid real people to do it
for me. So minus the cost of the software I’m still $120 up not to mention that this is just
the first 12 hours, if I let this software run indefinitely I basically have infinite

Server Requirements:
The ICo-Content vBulletin edition makes use of Curl to retrieve XML files from Yahoo!. If Curl is not available
on your server, it will try to use PHP file access functions like file_get_contents() instead.
Some hosts do not support this by default so please make sure file wrapper functions are supported or can be enabled
for you. This may involve opening a firewall port to allow a connection to http://answers.yahooapis.com/. Please
consult your system administrator or host prior to purchasing ICo-Content.

installation of vBulletin 3.6.7. Whilst we fully expect this to work on any version of 3.5 and
over, we can not guarantee it will. Support is not included for
versions other than 3.6.7 or forums with other hacks,
customizations, plugins or modifications. Please update your vB installation prior
to installing ICo-Content.
Important Notice:
You need a working installation of SMF (free) for ICo-Content to work!
The current SMF edition was developed and successfully tested on a fresh
installation of SMF 1.1.4. This is the only supported SMF version so please make sure you
run the latest forum updates before sending in support requests. ICo-Content also works on
a Fantastico installed version of SMF 1.1.4. Support is not included for versions other than
1.1.4, boards bridged with another CMS or forums with other hacks,
customizations, plugins or modifications.
